strengthening mind, body, & soul
Born and raised in Paris, France, I was surrounded by beauty from day one — lights, love, dance, food, fashion, architecture, theater, history, you name it, Paris had it and romanticized it.
Everywhere I turned people were creatively expressing themselves with all the conviction in the world. Looking back, it’s no wonder that I chased a career in performing arts at such a young age.
From dancing professionally across Europe, creative directing for Cirque du Soleil, and sharing the screen with Ryan Gosling and Heidi Klum (both as beautiful offscreen as on), curating beauty through movement has always been at the core of my career.
As a lover of all things movement, I constantly sought out new forms of physical expression and naturally was led to yoga. After years perfecting performances for others’ eyes, stepping onto the mat felt like a performance entirely for myself. It challenged my body and pushed my mind deeper than I’d experienced as a professional performer, but at the same time, it was the ultimate freedom.
I wasn’t fully aware of the healing I needed and craved prior to attending my first class. Wherever you find yourself in your journey, modern-day life has a knack for inducing a heavy dose of pressure and strain that limits our full potential.
Yoga felt like being placed in front of a mirror — it opened my heart to learning, gave rise to body awareness that promoted healing, and allowed me to connect the dots between mind, body, and soul.
Needless to say, I was hooked. I launched into full-on captivation: training and studying every yoga variation from hot vinyasa to power yoga to wanderlust style, earning my E-RYT 700 and YACEP, and designing my own modalities and adaptations. Not only was my body developing newfound strength, but all of me followed.
When I say “awespire,” this is the essence of what I mean. Rather than compartmentalizing career for mind, obligatory movement practice for body, and self-care routine for soul (with the minimal remaining minutes after the first two take what they need), all three worked in blissful harmony and, honestly, it inspired the shit out of me — pardon my French, I was born in Paris, remember?
This holistic strength in mind, body, and soul showed — in mental resilience, physical appearance, and unspoken presence — and people started following. “People” as in Equinox, Bala, Carbon38, Alo Yoga, and Fabletics. A community hungry to follow my lead formed around me as we all passionately chased this beautiful, well-lived life everyone loves to talk about but can’t seem to pin down.
Whether you join me on international retreats, stick with me online as we navigate unforeseen global pandemics, or flow with me in-person in L.A., this journey is for every mind, body, and soul. If you’re a handstand pro or feel more comfortable in child’s pose, I invite you to show up and play. Step in front of the mirror, perform for yourself, and see what happens.
